Duckie on the Head

As you all know, Duckie is one great best friend. Julia and I were taking a walk last week and not only did she need to bring Duckie on our adventure, but she kept him on her head--while walking--for quite some time. Here's some video of the cuteness.



Birthday Party Update: With invites out, we've gotten quite a few responses so far. At least 11 friends will be there to celebrate!

L'Shana Tovah!

Happy Jewish New Year! To celebrate, Julia and Mommy went apple picking (no temple for us!) at Silverman's Farm with Brad, Tara, Sacha, Jonah and Brad's sister, Amy. We all had a great time, especially riding the tractor through the orchards.

Music & Ice Cream

First up is a silly video of Julia and Daddy making some beautiful music together at the Children's Museum of Manhattan.



And here is Julia enjoying some chocolate soft serve with rainbow sprinkles (Mommy's favorite) after a hard Labor Day spent playing at the playground.

Home Depot

Mommy, Daddy and Julia were at the Home Depot the other week when we stumbled upon their monthly kids' class. They were making football displays, which was a natural fit for the Frank-Zagar Family.

Halloween Preview

Here is a sneak peek of Julia's Berry Fairy Butterfly costume. (Where they come up with these costume ideas I'll never know, but she seems to like it!)

Tinkerbell & Mickey

Julia had her Meet & Greet for her 3s class which starts next week! All went well (Julia even wore her big girl underwear!) and she had a great time wearing a Tinkerbell costume. See?

She's also loving the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on TV. She loves it so much, Mommy bought her the soundtrack. Now you can't hear the song that well in the background, but trust me when I tell you that she knows all the words!

Mondays are exhausting

School is out this week and Mommy & Julia (& Daddy!) have had a busy time. On Monday, we went to a special storytime and craft at a local toy store. Here are the goods:

Hey, guys--so many great pictures and videos to post, but will just start with a few random ones from recently. If you can't tell, Julia loves her Hello Kitty umbrella and had to have it. And as always, Big Bird is a great friend and companion.

Ben's Party at the Farm

We had a great time at Ben's party at Sport Hill Farm. It would've been much better had Julia taken a nap but alas, it was not meant to be.

The first is Julia planting a sunflower seed in her pot. Then we have Julia and Patty with their party hats, followed by the singing of Happy Birthday. Lastly is Julia LOVING feeding the chickens while in their yard. As you will see, Julia turned a bit free range herself.

Birthday Season!

We've been really busy lately with lots of fun summer activities. Friday was Mommy's party at the beach, which Julia spent with Jack A. playing in the water (fully clothed, mind you) and then rolling herself in sand. By the end of the party, she looked like a breaded cutlet. Here are the pics to prove it.

Mystic Aquarium!

After having an enjoyable night at Mohegan Sun so mommy and daddy could see Rush (J has to wait at least another few years before she gets to go to see them), we met friends Chip and Michelle and little Joseph at Mystic Aquarium. We had a great time! Enjoy the pictures...
