Snow Day!

We had a great weekend, which was unexpectedly a long one cause my office was closed on Friday for the snow (about 6 inches or so). We had a warm day in with a fire, and on Saturday we got to take a nice walk. Here are some pics of our walk:

Happy Presidents' Day!

Hello, all! Just a brief update on this holiday weekend. Daycare was open today, so even though Carrie and I had the day off from work, we took the opportunity to dump her at daycare, since we are bad parents! (We actually went to the movies for the first time in about five months--we deserve it, don't we? We saw "There Will Be Blood," which was intense but enjoyable. And long.)

Oh, some milestone news: Julia rolled over from back to front for the first time this morning! She did it a couple more times this afternoon, so she is getting the hang of it and enjoying the ride. Now to the pictures.

Unfortunately, little Julesie is sick with a cold on her first Valentine's Day...(awwww....it's so sad watching her cough and sniffle and look so unhappy.) Fortunately, we were still able to get some cute pictures, the last one with the adorable V-Day outfit from Nana and Dido.

Four Months Old!

Hello, folks! We had a very nice weekend together, and today Julia is four months old! Hard to believe, but she's getting bigger and more excited every day. Tomorrow Mom goes back to work part-time, so it will be Julia's first day in day care (three days a week). Fortunately, she is just in time for the class picture tomorrow, which we will certainly post. Her day care is interesting, because it is at a nursing home that has day care for its employees and a few other children--when they reach one year of age, they spend some time once a week with the senior citizens that live there, which we think is very nice.
